1. Opening Reflection

Where does your confidence come from? Your feelings? Your behavior? Your consistency? Or God’s faithfulness, God’s promise, God’s covenant?

Guiding thought: Your salvation is not held up by your grip on God — but by God’s grip on you.

2. Core Scriptures

  • Ephesians 2:8–9 — Saved by grace.

  • John 10:28–29 — No one can snatch them from My hand.

  • Romans 8:31–39 — Nothing can separate us.

  • 1 John 5:11–13 — You may know you have eternal life.

  • Titus 3:4–7 — His mercy, not our works.

3. Study Themes

God’s Character Is the Anchor

  • He initiates salvation.

  • He sustains salvation.

  • He completes salvation.

Assurance Produces Humility, Not Arrogance

Confidence in salvation doesn’t make us careless — it makes us grateful.

Feelings Shift — God Doesn’t

Your emotions are not the measure of your salvation.

4. Reflection Questions

  • What have you been relying on to feel “secure” with God?

  • What Scriptures strengthen your confidence?

  • How does assurance change the way you relate to God?

5. Prayer

A prayer of rest, trust, and confidence in God’s faithfulness.
