1. Opening Reflection

What is leading your decisions, emotions, habits, and identity? Everyone follows something, a voice, a desire, a fear, a belief, a pattern, a person. Or maybe religion and doctrines.

Guiding thought: Following Jesus is not about perfection. It’s about direction.

2. Core Scriptures

  • John 10:1–5 — My sheep hear My voice.

  • Matthew 4:19 — Follow Me.

  • Psalm 23 — The Shepherd who leads.

  • Galatians 5:16–25 — Walking by the Spirit.

  • Romans 12:1–2 — Not conforming to the world.

3. Study Themes

The Voice You Follow Shapes Your Life

  • Jesus leads with peace, clarity, and truth.

  • The enemy leads with fear, confusion, and pressure.

  • Culture leads with self-focus and instability.

  • Religion leads with performance and exhaustion.

The Shepherd’s Voice

  • Gentle

  • Steady

  • Recognizable

  • Always aligned with Scripture

  • Always rooted in love

Following Jesus Is a Daily Posture

Not a moment, not a prayer, not a performance — a relationship.

4. Reflection Questions

  • What voice has been the loudest in your life lately?

  • What do you tend to follow when you’re tired or overwhelmed?

  • What does following Jesus look like in your current season?

5. Prayer

A short, gentle prayer inviting Jesus to lead, guide, and steady your heart.
